Day 04/05: Periyar National Park, Surrounding an attractive lake, Pariyar National Park is famous for its wild elephants.
Day 06: Madurai, Southern India at its vibrant best, Madurai is teeming with bazaars full of pilgrims, rickshaws, beggars and traders. The brightly adomed Sri Meenakshi Temple is a mystical labyrinth of Shrines and daily rituals.
Day 07: Pondicherry, once a French enclave, Pondicherry reveals its French influence in everyday life. Making for an interesting blend of cultures
Day 08/09: Mamallapuram, Watch local stone carvers at work, cycle round the Shore Temples and appreciate the details in the Arjuna's Penance relief rock carving
Day 10/11: Mysore, Known for its silk, sandalwood and incense. Mysore's silkworm industry and colorful Devraja Market is fun while the magnificent illumination of the palace at night is a highlight.
Day 12: Masinagudi, Once the Mysore Maharaja's private hunting ground. Bandipur National Park is now protected under Project Tiber. Enjoy an afternoon safari before retiring to our charming jungle retreat.
Day 13: Ootacamund, Trek through the enchanting Nilgiril Mountains, passing tribal villages and tea plantations. On to the famous Raj hill station commonly known as "Ooty" Embrace the tranquility and relax by the lake or take a slow scenic ride in the toy train.
Day 14/15: Kochi, Winding down through the hills, return to the heat of the Malabar Coast and Kochi for some last minute shopping and some enticing fresh seafood.

Two weeks holiday in Nepal with Mission Eco-Trek
My wife and I took a 2 week tour in Nepal with Mission Eco-Trek in Feb 2011 and had a fantastic time. Mission Eco-Trek provided the very highest caliber guides and Ram Kumar (the proprietor) personally made sure that everything went smoothly. When storms caused our original flights to be cancelled and then cancelled for a second time, he graciously accommodated our changes at no extra cost.
